In Anqing Foreign Language 's Junior High School Division of the east campus, the poetry recitation contest was grandly held in the joint classroom today, during which the players were impassioned and presented the emotions and artistic conception in the poems perfectly with their sincere emotions and superb reciting skills, winning bursts of applause from the audience.
In addition, after the fierce competition, Wu Jiahui from Class 702, Pan Chenxu from Class 802 and Zhang Yujie from Class 805 won the first prizes of this competition respectively with their outstanding performance. Meanwhile, the contestants were quoted as saying, 'Poetry is a treasure of Chinese culture. Through this competition, we feel the charm of poetry more deeply and we shall continue to work hard to pass this love to more students.'
In a nutshell, the original intention of holding the poetry recitation competition is not only to provide a platform for children to showcase themselves, but also to promote the inheritance and development of Chinese culture. Furthermore, it's firmly believed that in the coming days, there will be more students who love poetry to contribute to the prosperity of Chinese culture.
